Kristen Aversa, MD, FACOG - Dr. Aversa is New Haven native who attended Yale College and Yale Medical School. She graduated medical school in 1999 and completed her residency in Ob/Gyn at Yale-New Haven Hospital in 2003, where she is now an attending physician. She is board certified and is also an assistant professor at Yale University School of Medicine. Our latest partner, Dr. Aversa joined County Ob/Gyn in 2003. She practices both Obstetrics and Gynecology, and enjoys her long-term relationships with her patients. Her areas of interest are procreative management and STD prevention and education. She spends her free time with her husband and three young children.
Anna Tirado, MD, FACOG - Dr. Tirado has been with County Ob/Gyn since 1997. She is a New York native who attended the Sophie Davis School for Bio-Medical Education and graduated from New York Medical College in 1984. She completed her residency at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. She is member of several professional societies and associations, including the International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health, American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology and the Lesbian and Gay Medical Association. She is board certified in Ob/Gyn and is an attending physician at Yale New Haven Hospital. Dr. Tirado currently practices Gynecology. In addition to routine Gynecology, she has a special area of interest in providing care to women who are physically and/or mentally challenged. She treats patients with disabilities at Gaylord Hospital in Wallingford. She divides her free time among her interest which include community work, travel and scuba diving. She serves as the head of Vector Control in Cherry Grove, Fire Island and has recently been elected the secretary of the New Haven Ob Society.

JoAnn is a 2006 graduate of The State University of New York at Stony Brook, where she received a Masters Degree in Perinatal Women's Health. She has a nursing background in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Newborn Nursery. JoAnn has a strong interest in prenatal care and adolescent gynecology. She practices both office Obstetrics and Gynecology, and has training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and Maternal Fetal Medicine. JoAnn is originally from New Mexico, where she was born and raised. She recently moved to Madison with her husband and their two small children. She previously lived in Virginia, where she worked as a Nurse Practitioner at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic, providing care to active duty military women and their families. She enjoys spending time with her family and baking.
